In 2005 we established The Studio Wine Company from which we produce our label Gem. Based in Auckland, we select small parcels of fruit from vineyard sites throughout New Zealand and do the winemaking at a small winery in West Auckland. With a hands-on approach to the winemaking, we spend a significant amount of time in the vineyards and winery to make sure we get the results we want, at every stage of the process.

Megan Hall - Sales & Marketing
During and after her university studies, Megan worked part-time in restaurants and bars in both New Zealand and Australia. After a stint modelling in Asia and Europe, she returned to Auckland and worked in a marketing and design agency until one of her clients offered her the position as marketing manager. She worked in this capacity until the arrival of her first child, and then decided on a new venture with her winemaker husband. Megan manages the administration, marketing and events for Gem.
